Agilent Technologies completes transfer of Agilent Atomic Emissions Detector to Joint Analytical Systems (JAS)

Teilen:

Agilent Technologies Inc. announced the signing of a licensing agreement that provides Joint Analytical Systems GmbH (JAS) the rights to manufacture, sell, support and develop Agilent's Atomic Emissions Detector (AED). As part of the agreement, Agilent Technologies will continue to provide comprehensive service and support to its existing AED system customers through the life of the product.

The Agilent G2350A AED, a gas chromatography (GC)-based detector, allows detection of virtually all elements within any volatized compound (except helium, the carrier gas) at picogram-levels, with excellent selectivities. The AED supports highly specialized applications and business needs. Agilent has successfully sold and supported the AED for the past 11 years.

JAS has been an Agilent Channel Partner since 1995, and employs scientists, engineers and software specialists to provide sophisticated chemical analysis products.

JAS currently manufactures a broad line of GC-focused products for the environmental, pharmaceutical, food and flavor, chemical and petrochemical markets and has capabilities in hardware and software development for gas and liquid chromatography instrumentation.
