The new company brand name is Titertek-Berthold. The company will continue to operate from the sites in Huntsville, AL, USA and Pforzheim, Germany. Titertek-Berthold has developed a coherent product and market strategy that is presented on the new website.

Titertek Instruments, Inc. can look back on 35 years of experience in the production of assay processing, liquid handling automation and detection systems. Zoom microplate washers and dispensers, Titan stackers and MAP workstations are renowned in the high throughput screening community for sample throughput and reliability. The Titertek site occupies a 35,000 square foot facility in the Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, Alabama; the second largest research park in the USA. Titertek is an FDA registered manufacturer.

Berthold Detection Systems GmbH was founded in 1996. The company specializes in bio-and chemiluminescence instrumentation and has brought the most popular instruments of their class on the market: FB14 battery-operated field luminometer, FB12 and Sirius standalone tube luminometers, and the Orion flagship product line for microplate measurement. Many diagnostics companies choose Berthold instrumentation to complement their reagents technology and to form powerful and reliable diagnostic systems.
