Research Scientist - Acrylic UV Syrup (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:

As a Research Scientist - Acrylic UV Syrup, you will play a key role in advancing tesa's UV-curable pressure sensitive adhesive technologies. You will lead the development of innovative, solvent-free acrylic polymer systems and translate scientific concepts into scalable formulations for laboratory and pilot plant implementation. Acting as a technical expert and project lead, you will work closely with interdisciplinary internal teams as well as external partners to strengthen tesa's technology leadership and sustainability ambitions in UV-based adhesive systems.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (with or without PhD) with strong expertise in polymer chemistry, photopolymerization, and/or organic synthesis
  
• Initial professional experience in radical polymerization and pressure sensitive adhesive technologies
  
• Strong hands-on experience and confidence in preparative laboratory work
  
• Ability to quickly grasp, assess, and translate novel chemical concepts into viable technical solutions
  
• Independent, structured, and analytical working style combined with strong team orientation
  
• Assertive personality with excellent organizational, communication, and networking skills
  
• Confidence in presenting laboratory results and technical concepts at internal and external forums
  
• Excellent English skills and basic German language proficiency
