Lab Scientist in Ultra-Sensitive Proteomics (m/f/d)
Your Profile:
- You have a PhD degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field, with 3-5 years of postdoctoral and / or professional experience focused on ultra-sensitive proteomics technologies, either in an academic setting and / or the pharmaceutical industry / biotech R&D sector;;
- You have exceptional competency in the handling and preparation of limited sample material for ultra-sensitive proteomics experiments, such as laser microdissected tissues, organoids, isolated cell populations, and scarce biofluids. Experience with spatial and / or single cell proteomics approaches is considered to be a plus;
- You have extensive hands-on experience in implementing, optimizing and executing studies with highly sensitive mass spectrometers.

Your Tasks:
- Be responsible for the planning, design and execution of ultra-sensitive proteomics workflows, with a focus on implementing and optimizing both routine, and custom low-input automated single pot sample preparation methods, followed by high-throughput lossless analysis using high-end mass spectrometry instrumentation;
- Ensure the continued production, and reliability of high-quality FAIR research data by performing regular quality control and troubleshooting of LC-MS instrumentation, and maintain accountability for the timely generation of comprehensive project reports, and engage with stakeholders to present and discuss findings in a dynamic and flexible manner.
- Embrace a continuous learning mindset by actively engaging with the scientific literature to stay abreast of emergent technologies/ approaches in the ultra-sensitive and single-cell proteomics fields.
