Your Profile:

  • You are a passionate chemist, flavourist, molecular sensorist or related with focus on ingredients and NPD
  • You have ideally already three years of work experience in the field of flavours
  • You understand the principles in organic chemistry and have experiences in potential interactions of chemical compounds
  • You have a solid background in respective regulations and guidelines applicable for flavourings, flavouring preparations and flavouring foodstuff
  • You have a strong expertise in working with and correlating of sensory and analytical data
  • You think out-of-the-box, have a strong will to innovate and target orientation
  • Your way of working is characterized by your entrepreneurial thinking, your hands-on mentality as well as your strong team orientation
  • You are a team player and active in developing interdisciplinary networks inside and outside of the company

Your Role:

  • You design and create taste ingredients as impactful differentiators for flavourings and foodstuff based solutions
  • You provide sensory and technical evaluations of ingredient-protoptypes in a range of representative evaluation matrixes, simulating different applications and processes
  • You drive and guide the assessment of flavour ingredient-prototypes regarding quality, performance and usability for flavours
  • Based on your evaluations you provide constructive feedback and advise to ingredient developers and you constantly challenge the quality and performance of newly developed ingredients by comparison with available benchmarks or alternatives
  • You actively collaborate with the tonality cluster competence teams in finding possible uses of new ingredients and in identifying gaps in the existing Ingredients portfolio
  • As an expert in your field, you work in an interdisciplinary team of chemists, distillers and experts on natural ingredients on current and planned innovation projects
  • Your expertise and creativity are key for ideation, execution and commercial realization of innovation projects
  • You are active in building close collaborations with B2B and B2C developers and the application teams across food and beverages in the holistic optimization of product properties, including taste performance, usability and applicability
