Research Specialist Formulation Functionalization (m/f/d)

What you have to offer:

• Master's degree in pharmaceutical or other natural sciences (e.g. nanotechnology, chemistry, biology, etc.) along with initial work experience in a relevant field
  
• Practical experience in RNA or DNA nanoparticle preparations comprising lipids or polymers
  
• Hands on experience on nanoparticle characterization techniques is required (e.g. Agarose gel electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, native PAGE, DLS, zeta potential, capillary electrophoresis, SEC etc.)
  
• Hands on experience in handling, modifying and purifying proteins
  
• Basic knowledge in immunology
  
• Independent, responsible and structured way of working as well as enthusiasm to participate in collaborative work projects
  
• Proficient English in written and verbal form
  
• Good MS Office skills

Your main responsibilities are:

• Planning, formulation and characterization of protein functionalized RNA nanoparticles
  
• Data processing, evaluation and documentation of experiments
  
• Support of assay development of physicochemical characterization techniques
  
• Chemical modification, analysis and purification of proteins
  
• Responsibility for instruments and laboratory management as well as administrative tasks
