Organic Chemist Radio-Isotope Laboratories (m/f/d)

  • Plan, conduct, evaluate, and report isotope labeling syntheses, especially 14C-radiosyntheses
  • Work in a radioactive control area
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement new technologies, techniques, and skills in accordance with company strategy and following literature, especially in the area of organic synthesis and radiochemical synthesis
  • Monitoring of activities subcontracted manufacturing organizations (CMO)
  • Assume responsibility (and accountability as per delegation) for compliance with German law, GLP, GMP guidelines and other applicable regulations pertaining to the R&D process, study conduct, and registration of pharmaceutical drugs
  • Assume responsibility (and accountability as per delegation) for and enforce adherence to safety measures in the laboratory
  • Represent function, scientific area and expertise outside of Nuvisan, upon request
  • MSc or PhD in organic chemistry with at least 5 years (hands-on) work experience in organic synthesis
  • In-depth knowledge of organic (medicinal) chemistry
  • Expertise in relevant analytical techniques, including HPLC, NMR, and mass spectrometry
  • Understanding of R&D-related sciences/practices, experience in isotope labeling and radiochemical synthesis (14C) is of advantage
