Scientific Project Manager - Euro-BioImaging Bio-Hub (m/f/d)

  • Coordination of user access to state-of-the-art biological imaging technologies, including communication with prospective applicants, and counselling services on the most suitable choice of technology and Node for the user project
  • Close personal interaction and networking with the imaging community, as e.g. imaging technology developers, staff in Euro-BioImaging Nodes, Euro-BioImaging users, imaging data producers and imaging data re-users
  • Communication and outreach activities to advertise Euro-BioImaging's service portfolio in national and international life sciences' events
  • Monitoring of trends and developments in the imaging technology field to support the identification of new imaging technologies that are most in need and coordination of their proof-of-concept studies
  • Strategic support for the Nodes in continuously optimizing their services and networking the Nodes across Europe and beyond
  • Outreach to other European research infrastructures in the life sciences, also for supporting advanced user projects with request for common access
  • PhD (or equivalent) in the life sciences ideally followed by additional professional experience in academia or industry (postdoctoral training, service provision in a core facility, project management, etc.)
  • Experience in scientific project management in a competitive research environment
